THE DEVIL’S POTHOLES
Here you will find the canal where in ancient times they took the water to operate the mills. But why Devil’s Pots? This name is due to the fact that the force of the water carries the stones, making them rotate and thus producing a movement similar to that of potholes, in a dangerous and difficult to reach place. At this point the flow of the river is less strong since the water has not eroded the tuff which has deposited on the side of the walls over the years.
